• Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions of parcel locker machines (APMs) on site, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. • Maintenance and modernisation of parcel locker machines, including implementing hardware and software upgrades to enhance reliability and efficiency. • Diagnostics, reconfiguration, and installation of computer software or firmware for computer, electronic, and electromechanical equipment, ensuring compatibility and security compliance. • Processing and reporting on assigned repairs using communication channels utilised within the organisation • Managing tools and components for parcel locker machines. • Handling systems for managing personnel-related matters. • Quality control of work performed by internal employees and subcontractors ensuring adherence to technical standards, contractual agreements, and company guidelines. • Providing technical and substantive support to employees and subcontractors (including international ones) via communication and IT channels used within the company. • Participating in the development of solutions for new types of parcel locker machines. • Preparing and updating technical manuals and documentation.
• Similar experience in a Field service technical engineering role on electrical/mechanical equipment • Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic tools (multi-meter) • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment, with experience in software configuration and firmware updates • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide technical training • Ability to manage tasks efficiently, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines across multiple markets • High accuracy in quality control and documentation updates • Experience working with diverse teams, including international subcontractors and internal staff • Flexibility to travel for service and training activities both in the UK and occasionally internationally • Familiarity with parcel locker or similar systems, electromechanical devices, and organisational IT tools • Effective time management and the ability to handle tools and components responsibly
