📋 Description

• The Arab Reading Challenge (ARC) is a cultural and educational initiative • Conduct a review of the ARC to understand its influence on children’s reading habits. • Generate insights on the relevance and effectiveness of ARC activities • Examine socio-cultural contexts impacting ARC participation. • Explore implications of ARC for national education policies. • Produce a comprehensive report and policy brief with recommendations.

🎯 Requirements

• A master’s degree (or equivalent) in education, educational psychology, curriculum & instruction, measurement, literacy, social sciences, or other relevant areas. • At least 2 years of relevant experience in research, education, project assistance, or monitoring activities; • Familiarity with basic qualitative and quantitative data collection methods; • Excellent analytical and writing skills, as well as oral communication skills; • Ability to work independently and as a team member; • Strong organizational and coordination skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines; • Good interpersonal skills to interact with wide-ranging stakeholders, notably children, parents, educators, project managers and policymakers; • Excellent command of Arabic and working proficiency in English. • No prior involvement in the design, implementation, management, and/or monitoring of the activities that will be the object of this contract. • Strong understanding of the socio-cultural contexts of the Arab States.
