📋 Description

• Provide project management expertise across multiple technology stacks and services • Understand client end goals and provide a consultative approach aligned with desired outcomes and strategy • Advise project teams on project delivery, CDW processes, project management best practices, and delivery • Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and act as a quality steward • Identify success criteria, involve stakeholders in key decisions, and link project outcomes to strategic initiatives • Negotiate changes to cost, scope, effort, schedules, resources, and solution commitments • Gather project information, determine impacts, document mitigation steps, and communicate with teams and clients • Independently manage medium to large projects involving complex cross-functional collaboration • Track project profitability, budgets, resources, actuals, planned hours, financials, and invoices • Validate project scope and estimates; determine when to use a new Statement of Work versus a Change Order • Identify additional service opportunities and communicate them to sellers • Ensure Statement of Work deliverables and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle • Establish, monitor, adjust, and communicate project tasks and schedules with engineering and partner resources • Identify and optimize resources and billable schedules • Track risks and issues, strategize resolutions, and drive timely issue resolution • Manage equipment, software, licensing, outside services procurement, and delivery schedules • Document outcomes and lessons learned and support business process improvements within the Services PMO • Hold project team members accountable for scope and schedule commitments • Lead teams to meet project success factors and exceed client expectations • Inspect delegated tasks and coach and mentor Associate Project Managers • Stay current on industry best practices and share knowledge across the Services PMO • Determine, manage, and deliver project documentation including communication plans, schedules, status reports, quality plans, closure summaries, budgets, and risk plans • Lead and facilitate live and virtual meetings and ensure timely follow-up • Adapt communication style and medium to audience needs • Communicate difficult and complex information, build consensus, and anticipate client/project needs • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in project management or four years of CDW Services experience; OR 8 years of experience in project management or 8 years of CDW Services experience • Two or more years of experience leading small to medium scale projects in a professional services organization • Project management or agile consulting experience advising clients on delivery best practices across multiple technology stacks, such as Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure • Ability to support presales activities and identify new sales opportunities • Experience participating productively in virtual teams • Experience project managing projects involving several technologies • Demonstrated accountability for projects and results, fiscal responsibility, and team leadership • Working knowledge of formal project management methodologies • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills • Ability to present technology recommendations from a business perspective • Discretion when handling sensitive/confidential information • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to CDW locations, meetings, and client sites • Ability to understand and apply oral and written instructions, organize and prioritize work, multitask, and use common sense • PMP and/or Agile Certification(s), a plus • Experience using Waterfall and Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban, a plus • Curiosity, a learner’s mindset, willingness to engage with evolving technology and tools, and readiness to explore, adapt, and grow with AI
