📋 Description

• Manage warehouse automation design, detailed material flow design and project execution for one or multiple projects • Lead development of project charters and manage project design and implementation plans • Manage overall project budgets and timelines, including capital equipment and external contracting support • Develop supplier specifications, support contract negotiations and oversee contract execution • Manage internal resources, consultants and outsourced resources for material handling, systems, building design and construction • Coordinate with internal project teams to ensure alignment • Prepare ongoing progress reports on project plans and budgets • Assist in preparing capital expenditure projects • Oversee project completion, including construction/installation, inspection, testing, training and startup • Directly manage Cencora associates working on projects, including expense report review, performance evaluations and goal setting • Collaborate with distribution management, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, Finance, Real Estate, corporate functions and external trading partners • Perform related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required • Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred • 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, inventory control, supply chain leadership, and operational management, or a related field required • 5+ years of experience in a management capacity required • Thorough knowledge, understanding and experience in fundamental warehouse design, material handling equipment and systems • Knowledge of warehouse operations management and systems functionality • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills for multiple, large capital projects • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and with people from different technical and business backgrounds • Ability to lead multidisciplinary work teams and apply new skills and techniques • Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Strong presentation skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Access databases, Word and AutoCAD • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
