📋 Description

• Manage warehouse automation design, detailed material flow design, and project execution for one or multiple projects • Support development of project charters and manage project design and implementation plans • Manage and report on project budgets and timelines • Support supplier specifications and contractual negotiations • Manage execution of contracted plans • Manage external consultants and outsourced resources for material handling equipment, warehouse and business systems, building modifications, and other services • Coordinate activities with project and operations directors and internal project teams • Assist with capital expenditure requests • Manage project completion, including construction/installation, inspection, testing, training, and startup • Lead projects involving new facility design and construction, existing facility rework, warehouse automation systems, and process implementations across multiple sites

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required • 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems, warehouse or supply chain applications, automation, controls, SCADA, and technical leadership, or a related field required • 2+ years of experience in a management capacity required • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience leading projects related to warehouse operations, warehouse design, warehouse and business systems, process improvement and standardization, engineered labor standards, and transportation • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and work effectively with people from different technical and business backgrounds • Ability to lead dynamically and energize work teams to learn and apply new skills and techniques • Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully • Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Access databases, Word, and AutoCAD • Prior experience in consulting, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen is beneficial
