📋 Description

• Lead and nurture the group responsible for issuing timely and accurate contributor/author payments and maintaining and updating royalty models • Build and scale new processes by understanding Cengage’s processes, systems/tools, personnel, and strategic direction • Define, structure, and complete improvement initiatives through work plans, data collection and synthesis, analysis, and recommendations • Present findings to executive-level leaders • Lead critical analyses and special projects to resolve contributor issues • Coordinate all aspects of data setups across Cengage content data systems, including royalty system IPM Fadel, PIM, SAP, and Fedel • Collaborate with business managers, finance leaders, and operations leaders to deliver timely and accurate reporting • Serve as business owner of Cengage’s royalty system • Approve royalty payments and supply audit documentation and support • Oversee material master/product data throughout its lifecycle • Manage metadata feeds to external sites and product marketing forms sent to resellers • Control legal and financial risk, reduce expenses, improve workflows, and encourage scalable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• A four-year college degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required • 7+ years of professional experience, including corporate, team, and program leadership • Experience in a professional services organization (consulting, private equity, investment banking) and/or cross-functional leadership role • 3+ years of people management and development experience • Preferred experience in SAP, PIM, Vistex • Must work well in a matrix environment across multiple groups and levels • Self-starter, analytical, and driven to deliver outcomes; able to prioritize across multiple projects • Demonstrated success in data analysis, managing multi-discipline partners, and driving complex projects from conception to implementation • Collaborative and proactive problem solving to inspire change through influence • Strong writing and verbal skills; able to simplify complex analysis for senior audiences
