📋 Description

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans • Obtain prior authorizations and referrals as required by insurance carriers • Maintain accurate and up-to-date insurance information within the electronic health record (EHR) • Respond to inquiries from insurance companies, clients, clinic staff, and accounting personnel regarding coverage, eligibility, and authorizations • Collaborate with internal teams to help ensure timely and accurate billing and reimbursement • Identify and resolve insurance-related issues before client appointments to support a positive client experience

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Preferred experience working with medical insurance verification, eligibility, and authorization processes • Experience verifying mental health or behavioral health insurance benefits is a plus • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills • Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new software applications
