📋 Description

• Identify technology needs and make recommendations to business decision-makers. • Manage a team of developers and business analysts. • Develop and mature the IT DevOps framework and automation. • Work with other departments, such as business leaders and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. • Maintain company hardware and software programs. • Update technological equipment in the company. • Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to mentor employees on new features. • Develop, implement, and monitor the day-to-day app development and incident management backlog to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives. • Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding delivery and strategic goals. • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure timely and efficient task completion. • Devise strategies to drive program growth enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs. • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related discipline. • Hands-on experience with software engineering and business requirements gathering. • 10+ years of experience with large SaaS products such as Duck Creek or Guidewire. • Functional certifications on the Duck Creek or Guidewire product platforms preferred. • Minimum 7 years managing IT teams comprised of internal and external resources. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT developments. • Ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms. • Knowledge of best computer security practices. • Strong research and analytical skills.
