📋 Description

• Edge Development & Deployment: Design, develop, and maintain robust edge applications using Python and C# on Linux and IoT devices. Implement secure, containerized workloads using Docker and integrate with Azure IoT Services (IoT Hub/Edge) • OTA Updates & Security: Architect and implement secure, fault-tolerant OTA mechanisms (A/B updates, delta patching) for large device fleets. Ensure software integrity, authenticity (code signing), and establish reliable rollback/monitoring strategies • DevOps & CI/CD: Build and manage edge solution CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps. Use IaC principles for device provisioning and configuration management • Performance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring optimal edge application performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage (memory, power) • Documentation & Collaboration: Document technical designs, participate in code reviews, and stay current with emerging edge technologies and security standards

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in edge development • Hands-on experience with Linux • Python & C# Knowledge • Knowledge of serverless apps and functions • Hands-on experience of Docker applications • Experience with / understanding of Azure DevOps & Azure IoT Services • Hands-on experience designing and securing robust OTA (Over The Air) mechanisms (e.g., A/B updates, delta patching) for managing firmware and application updates on a large fleet of remote devices
