📋 Description

• Own end-to-end accounting for assigned areas across operating costs, cash transactions, payroll and employee-related costs, share-based compensation, fixed assets and intangible assets • Own month-end and quarter-end accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, capitalization and period-end adjustments • Analyze cash transactions and large accounting datasets using analytical and AI-enabled tools • Identify exceptions, investigate unusual items and ensure transactions are complete, accurately classified and properly reflected in financial statements • Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements and provide evidence-based commentary on key drivers • Research unfamiliar or non-routine transactions and form accounting positions under relevant U.S. GAAP • Prepare supporting schedules, financial reporting and assigned SEC disclosures • Perform ICFR and SOX controls with high-quality documentation and testing readiness • Drive accounting issues through resolution and improve upstream data, processes and controls • Support audit, tax and compliance requirements • Experiment with AI and automation tools and implement solutions that improve accounting speed, quality and scalability

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience • ACA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification • Strong problem solving skills and curiosity • Ability to investigate large or complex datasets, identify root causes and drive issues through to resolution • High ownership, resilience and bias for action • Ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver quality work at pace • Clear, structured communication skills • Strong AI and automation mindset, with hands-on experience using AI, automation or data tools • Strong understanding of audit, ICFR and SOX requirements • Experience working effectively with internal and external auditors • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with a global, cross-functional team across multiple time zones • Preferred: experience in a leading professional services firm and/or a U.S. public company, including SEC reporting and SOX • Preferred: experience in digital assets, payments, FinTech, technology or financial services • Preferred: experience with operating costs, payroll and employee-related costs, share-based compensation, fixed assets, internally developed intangible assets or lease accounting • Preferred: experience with Oracle Fusion or another large-scale ERP and analytical, AI or automation tools
