CircuitHub is a company that provides an on-demand circuit board assembly platform catering to electronics engineers looking for rapid and low-cost manufacturing solutions. CircuitHub specializes in low volume, high speed prototyping and small batch production of printed circuit boards (PCBs), making use of automation to offer competitive pricing and fast turnaround times. Customers can manage the entire process online, from uploading design files to receiving instant quotations, and tracking order progress. CircuitHub aims to streamline PCB assembly, reduce production time, and provide high quality results, supporting innovators from concept to production.

📋 Description

• Improve automated optical inspection to detect missing, rotated and wrongly placed parts and bad solder. • Train and deploy models that find parts in bins and trays, centre them on the nozzle, and detect clumped or dropped picks. • Implement fiducial detection, calibration and image alignment for precise placements. • Decide what data to capture, build labelling tools, and convert operator verdicts into training data. • Work with high-speed cameras and the GPU capture pipeline to move vision closer to real time. • Track production accuracy, identify error sources, and validate changes against historical results. • Collaborate with AI agents and contribute to scaling CircuitHub's factory-scale robotics platform, The Grid.

🎯 Requirements

• You've shipped computer vision into production, beyond a notebook. • Strong software engineering in Python, C++ or a comparable language. • A mix of classical vision (geometry, calibration, template matching) and deep learning; you know when each is the right tool. • Experience with industrial or machine-vision cameras is a bonus. • You use coding agents to move faster and take full ownership of what they produce. • You like the physical world: lighting, lenses and parts rotated by 90°. • Experience with OpenCV, PyTorch and Lightning, ONNX Runtime on GPU, and libtorch from Haskell. • Experience with Basler GigE cameras via pylon and high-speed cameras with GPUDirect capture. • Experience with Python, Haskell, PostgreSQL, Nix and NixOS.
