📋 Description

• Own recurring FP&A deliverables, including departmental budget-to-actual reporting, monthly close packages, and rolling forecast updates • Build and maintain driver-based financial models for revenue, headcount, and infrastructure cost forecasts • Perform variance analysis and surface insights that guide business decisions • Support quarterly forecast cycles and annual budget planning • Coordinate planning inputs from department heads and consolidate company-wide views • Contribute to board materials, investor deliverables, and executive reporting packages • Automate and improve recurring finance workflows using better tools, scripts, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Accounting fluency, including understanding of the general ledger, accruals, financial statements, and actuals production • Ability to build clean, auditable, driver-based financial models from scratch in Excel or Google Sheets • Ability to pull, clean, and work with data from ERP systems, BI tools, and CRM exports • Ability to communicate variance analysis as business insight with impact, next steps, and audience needs • 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or a related analytical role • Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, and payback period, or ability to learn them quickly • Comfort working in an environment where planning complexity is growing faster than the team • Genuine interest in AI and developer tooling • Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition in a SaaS context is a bonus • SQL experience is a bonus • Experience improving recurring finance workflows through automation, scripts, or AI tools is a bonus • Exposure to consumption-based pricing, infrastructure cost modeling, or developer tooling is a bonus • Interest in building new FP&A frameworks where historical benchmarks do not yet exist
