📋 Description

• Support Collas Crill's revenue cycle through billing, debtor administration, and related reporting • Manage billing activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely conversion of work in progress into cash • Resolve billing and payment queries with fee earners and clients • Monitor work in progress, disbursements, debtor ledgers, and overdue invoices • Prepare, review, and issue client invoices according to agreed terms and billing instructions • Ensure compliance with client-specific billing requirements, including e-billing formats and portals • Assess credit risk and set credit limits using a credit reference agency • Support the Group Revenue Manager with ad hoc activities and projects • Contribute to improvements in billing, collections processes, and controls • Maintain records of debtor communications, collections activity, and invoice status • Assist with aged debtor reports, cash collection forecasts, and revenue reporting • Support implementation of credit control policies and escalation procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or credit control • Experience in a professional services firm is ideally preferred • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Client service approach • Organised and proactive, with attention to detail • Problem-solving ability • Ability to build effective relationships with partners and lawyers • Ability to work to tight deadlines with conflicting priorities • Proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Excel • Experience using a practice management system such as Elite 3E is a bonus
