Come and See Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports global distribution, translation, and accessibility for the faith-based television series The Chosen. The foundation raises funds, coordinates translations and dubbing into hundreds of languages, operates promotional screenings and partnerships (including an official app and streaming releases), and provides grant/donation-based support to keep all seven seasons freely available worldwide. Its mission focuses on evangelism and cultural engagement—making The Chosen widely available, culturally relevant, and free to watch to help introduce people to the story of Jesus.

📋 Description

• Build and manage a portfolio of 125+ international major-gift supporters and prospects, securing five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts from individuals, families, organizations, and foundations. • Meet an annual goal exceeding $5M through major gifts, stock gifts, donor-advised funds, qualified charitable distributions, foundations, and other philanthropic vehicles. • Develop donor-centric moves-management plans that advance supporters from introduction to long-term partnership and grow annual giving through intentional stewardship. • Coordinate strategic asks involving executive leadership, board members, Global Ambassadors, subject-matter experts, and ministry partners. • Own all portfolio stewardship, follow-up, cultivation, solicitation, and donor engagement. • Proactively identify and cultivate prospective supporters through networking, referrals, ministry relationships, donor introductions, events, and strategic partnerships. • Partner with Global Distribution teams, Equipping Centers, Global Ambassadors, and ministry partners to identify and qualify prospects, and convert opened doors into lasting partnerships. • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified international prospects, and collaborate with Marketing and Development leadership on bespoke, internationally tailored donor materials. • Support and shape regional fundraising strategies across assigned territories, aligning with Global Distribution priorities, Equipping Center opportunities, and international ministry partnerships. • Within the first year, develop recommendations on territory prioritization, international fundraising strategy, staffing needs, and future organizational structure. • Deepen relationships with key international giving organizations.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years of direct major-gift fundraising, with proven success securing five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts. • Demonstrated success in international major-gift fundraising. • Experience in nonprofit, faith-based, or mission-driven organizational development. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Highly relational, with the ability to engage supporters across diverse cultural and geographic backgrounds. • Proven ability to build and execute donor-centric moves-management strategies. • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. • Enthusiasm for frequent international travel. • A personal connection to The Chosen — this role calls for someone who has been personally impacted by the series.
