📋 Description

• Report to Global Category Sensor & ASICs, striving for best-in-class, consistent and sustainable supplier quality performance to achieve Continental's business and quality objectives • Quality ownership for customer-centric tooling processes, semiconductor-solutions-related component procurement, design, development and release of technologies and components (including sub-releases) • Define, execute and implement the optimal supplier and component strategy by setting quality requirements, conducting lessons learned and ensuring early involvement in supplier and technology evaluations • Perform development and improvement activities at supplier sites • Define, approve and implement procedures, policies and tools for semiconductor solutions to meet the zero-defect strategy • Responsible for the quality of component development and Material Lifecycle (MLC) release activities in collaboration with R&D, Technical Operation Management and Test Program Engineering • Support manufacturing quality, including MRB decisions, 8D management, failure analysis, escalation management, expansion of test coverage and risk assessment • Define and maintain semiconductor-specific requirements, including audits, certifications and technical capabilities for foundries, OSATs and test suppliers • Support product and process change requests, including supplier PCNs, to ensure comprehensive qualification of all changes • Support data systems to collect and evaluate supplier quality-related performance metrics (KPIs) for regular quality performance reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred or equivalent qualification • Experience in the semiconductor industry • Strong knowledge of semiconductor design and processes as well as testing (e.g., wafer process technologies, assembly, test), quality systems and component testing • Desirable expertise in manufacturing data analytics, semiconductor physical failure analysis and semiconductor IC design quality • Understanding of automotive practices such as APQP/PPAP, VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 • Business-fluent English and basic German skills (spoken and written) • Ability to lead process improvements, supplier development and audit activities with frequent travel • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including collaboration, analytical abilities and negotiation skills
