📋 Description

• Work with the project team to sequence work with associated subcontractors and vendors • Help ensure successful and safe project execution • Potentially supervise laborers and craft workers or direct an assigned project segment with one or more crafts • Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications • Manage and motivate the workforce while applying Beck Core Values • Interact with Project Engineers on assembly, organization, workflow, and review of RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings • Assess work quality • Monitor and enforce OSHA and Beck safety policies and procedures • Assist with schedule development and adherence for assigned scopes of work • Participate in project layout and field engineering • Develop and maintain Daily Reports • Identify and learn Lean Construction Practices and Principles • Follow direction, collaborate with team members, and complete assigned tasks • Understand and utilize Bluebeam basics

🎯 Requirements

• 0-3 years of relevant construction experience • College graduate with relevant degree, or relevant experience as Field Foreman or Field Engineer with basic safety awareness, supervisory experience, and ability to keep daily reports • Internship with commercial construction company preferred but not required • Fundamental understanding of project documents • Experience using Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus • Willingness to learn and be mentored • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems • Effective and collaborative communication skills • Effective time management skills • Thorough understanding of building construction • Interest in integrated project delivery and process improvement and technology • Ability to adhere to consistent and timely attendance • Ability to frequently move equipment up to 50 lbs • Ability to constantly move around a job site on uneven surfaces • Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions
