📋 Description

• Engage past client relationships from the insurance and construction industries. • Facilitate Business Development and Marketing events for new client acquisition. • Provide construction expertise for a wide range of complex projects including residential, commercial, and industrial. • Perform on-site inspections following property damage, taking scoping notes, photo documentation, and measurements. • Develop estimates for all levels of project complexity. • Produce DBI reports such as BDRs, ROMs, RCCs, and CSIs with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Determine team composition and partner with People & Culture for Workforce Planning. • Recruit, hire, lead and develop a team of construction consultants for property damage evaluations. • Oversee project scopes, budgets, KPIs, time entry, invoices, and deliverables for team. • Drive consistency in estimating, workflow, documentation, and quality standards. • Support company initiatives and continuously improve processes, tools, and team capabilities. • Represent DBI with professionalism, integrity, and strong communication during site visits and client interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field • 15+ years of experience within building consulting and/or construction management projects • Strong client relationships from the property insurance industry • Strong estimating and project management experience (Xactimate, Bluebeam, P6 or MS Project) • Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate findings clearly • Comfortable working in the field—including roofs, heights, tight spaces, and post-loss environments • Motivated, analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about construction • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~20%.
