📋 Description

• Oversee the initiative to use the company’s banking capabilities to fund mortgage banking retail operations • Establish mortgage funding lines for joint venture builder partners • Build scalable systems and manage risks associated with short-term credit facilities • Manage daily mortgage funding and warehouse lending execution • Contribute to strategic decisions supporting growth, profitability, and risk management • Manage and oversee the group’s P&L • Oversee CCB mortgage funding operations, regulatory responsibility, and operational excellence • Remain accountable to the mortgage division, executive leadership, and board of directors • Monitor daily borrowings, advance rates, curtailment schedules, and collateral eligibility • Review wires and closing documents and authorize release of funds to title or settlement agents • Coordinate with Capital Markets on loan gestation and sale to secondary market investors or GSEs, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac • Evaluate a Warehouse Management System integrating with Phoenix Core, LV365, the batch wire system, and the Data Warehouse • Develop and execute a phased rollout plan, including staffing, gating criteria, and pilot testing with select ABA partners and CHL

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field • 10–15+ years of experience in warehouse lending, correspondent lending, mortgage banking, or specialty finance • Proven leadership experience managing operations and financial performance • Strong knowledge of warehouse lending structures, collateral management, treasury, and regulatory requirements • Experience with warehouse lending platforms such as OptiFunder Greyhound, ProMerit/WLS, or similar systems • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills • Experience with systems that track line availability, collateral pooling, and document custody • Experience with Loan Origination Systems such as Empower, Loan Vision, or Black Knight • Experience with document management and custody systems such as MERS integrations, DocMagic, or eSignSystems • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
