📋 Description

• Own, build and run a suite of impactful platforms built on modern cloud technologies that provide a suite of functionality delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, streaming, identity, performance, reliability & containers. • Build a multi-region and multi-cloud supported services that allows scalable, secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure clouds in a regulated environment. • Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and operational design to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. • Act as a hands-on contributor, designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling Coupa’s platform systems and services. • Support the effort to containerize a suite of applications to reduce cost and improve efficiency. • Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the Dev and product Management team. • Help us in improving the reliability and scalability of the hosted products. • Takes full ownership of products and has a track record of sustainably delivering high quality features & managing technical debt. • At Coupa we also practice a culture of sharing, you will have various opportunities to share your ideas and hear from other teams how they solve their technical challenges. 🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of professional experience handling large scale production systems. • Experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers with certification. • Experience in designing of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider, migration of services to cloud and deployment of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider. • Hands on experience with Ruby, Terraform and configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible or equivalent. • Experience in application support/development on Ruby. • Has experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, ECS). • Has experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) reliably and at scale. • Experience in observability tools like NewRelic, Datadog etc. • Expertise in problem solving and analyzing global scale distributed systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Critical thinking, continuously challenging how and why we do things to help us improve.
