📋 Description

• Craft reliable, scalable backend systems powering Coverflex’s compensation platform • Design APIs and optimize databases • Make architectural decisions and shape product development as a product engineer • Collaborate with product managers and designers from discovery through delivery • Own meaningful problems and ship features end-to-end • Build reliable infrastructure with monitoring and graceful degradation • Improve system quality and performance through optimization, latency reduction, error handling, and data consistency • Implement testing coverage, observability, documentation, and reusable engineering patterns • Lead features end-to-end and own outcomes • Conduct constructive code reviews, share knowledge, pair with teammates, and contribute to engineering standards • Collaborate with product on technical discovery, opportunities, assumptions, and solution quality • Communicate progress, blockers, and trade-offs proactively

🎯 Requirements

• Mid to Senior seniority level • Strong backend engineering fundamentals • Production-ready mindset, including testing, observability, and monitoring • Experience shipping in small PRs with CI/CD • Product thinking focused on user outcomes • Collaborative working style and commitment to team practices • Elixir, Phoenix, and Phoenix LiveView knowledge listed as main tools • PostgreSQL knowledge • AWS and Kubernetes knowledge • GitHub, GitHub Actions, ConfigCat, and Datadog knowledge • English is the main language • Elixir/Phoenix professional experience is nice-to-have • Multi-market B2B SaaS experience is nice-to-have • Fintech or regulated-industry background is nice-to-have • AI-assisted development habits and prompt-level fluency are nice-to-have
