📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse caseload involving both commercial and residential property issues • Offer legal guidance to council departments, senior officers, and stakeholders • Draft, review, and negotiate property-related legal documents • Advise on acquisitions, disposals, leases, licenses, easements, wayleaves, and land transactions • Support regeneration, development, and asset management projects • Conduct title investigations and property due diligence • Draft and finalize legal agreements for property transactions • Provide counsel on landlord and tenant matters • Assist project teams with complex property-related challenges • Participate in remote meetings to offer legal advice as needed • Maintain precise case records and file management systems

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx with a valid practicing certificate • Extensive post-qualification experience in Property Law • Proficiency in handling both commercial and residential property matters • Experience in drafting and negotiating property agreements and legal documents • Strong understanding of Commercial Property Law • Strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant Law • Strong understanding of Property Transactions • Strong understanding of Local Government Property Matters • Ability to independently manage a caseload • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills • Superior organizational and time-management capabilities • Experience in Local Authority property law (desirable) • Background in supporting regeneration and development projects (desirable) • Expertise in advising on asset management and strategic property transactions (desirable) • Experience working in a remote legal services environment (desirable)
