📋 Description

• Monitor billed accounts on a daily basis • Identify outstanding account receivables • Investigate historical data for debts and bills • Take action in order to encourage timely payments • Resolve billing issues • Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 claims per workday • Minimum of 40 claims per work day

🎯 Requirements

• At least a year of experience with medical billing • Familiarity with medical billing codes • Familiar with the appealing process for commercial and workers' compensation claims • Excellent knowledge of case management principles • Excellent email writing and phone calling skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to be compassionate, empathetic, patient, and calm • Solid organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail • **Internet Connection:** Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of **15 Mbps**. • Backup internet connection with at least **10 Mbps**. • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage. • **Primary Device:** Desktop or laptop equipped with at least: **Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer)**, **Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer)**, **AMD Ryzen 5**, or an equivalent processor. **A minimum of **8 GB RAM**. • **Backup Device:** Must meet or exceed the performance of an **Intel Core i3** processor. Must be functional during power interruptions. • A functioning **webcam**. • A **noise-canceling USB headset**. • A **quiet, dedicated home office space**. • **Peripherals and Workspace:** A **smartphone** for communication and verification purposes.
