📋 Description

• Lead and contribute to product assessments for investment firms and portfolio companies across the EMEA investment lifecycle, from pre-close diligence through post-close value creation and exit preparation • Evaluate product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market defensibility across EMEA markets • Assess AI and machine learning embedded in products and articulate implications for competitive advantage, risk, and value creation • Analyse product-market fit, customer segmentation, expansion opportunity, localisation needs, and growth assumptions across EMEA • Review product team structure, delivery capability, execution track record, and organisational readiness for growth • Conduct executive interviews, customer discovery conversations, and expert network engagements • Synthesise documentation, market research, customer evidence, and interviews into structured, investment-grade deliverables • Communicate product and market dynamics to deal teams, investment committees, operating partners, and company leadership • Advise portfolio company product leaders on strategy, prioritisation, localisation, and capability development post-close

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including significant senior or executive leadership experience (Director, VP, CPO, or equivalent) at B2B software or SaaS companies operating in EMEA or globally • Demonstrated track record shipping products at scale, owning product strategy, roadmap prioritisation, and cross-functional delivery in agile environments across regional or international markets • Hands-on experience building or leading AI/ML-powered products, including AI product strategy, build/partner/buy decisions, model risk management, user trust, data protection, and user experience challenges across EMEA • Ability to critically evaluate AI strategy, including data assets, model dependencies, technical differentiation, competitive vulnerability, responsible AI posture, regulatory exposure, and AI-driven roadmap assumptions • Strong analytical capability using market research, customer data, competitive intelligence, and regional market signals • Exceptional written and verbal communication for translating product and technology complexity into concise narratives for non-technical executive audiences • Broad experience across enterprise software, B2B SaaS, and the full SDLC from discovery through delivery and growth • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments across multiple markets and time zones • Prior management consulting, investment due diligence, or advisory experience serving PE-backed companies in EMEA (preferred) • Familiarity with private equity investment models, deal processes, and value creation frameworks used by EMEA investors (preferred) • Experience at or advising PE-backed software companies through growth, operational improvement, international expansion, or M&A across EMEA (preferred) • Vertical domain depth in relevant EMEA sectors such as FinTech, HealthTech, GovTech, LegalTech, MarTech, HR Tech, industrial software, or compliance-heavy software (preferred) • Experience building or scaling product organisations across distributed or multilingual teams (preferred) • Exposure to sell-side advisory, exit preparation, or investor-facing product storytelling (preferred)
