• Advise UK public sector CISOs and security leaders on strategic planning, threat landscape, and proactive cybersecurity initiatives • Establish and maintain relationships with key UK government customers and decision-makers • Conduct executive briefings and provide independent, non-commercial cybersecurity modernization guidance • Facilitate peer-to-peer engagement and knowledge-sharing forums for UK public sector security leaders • Support strategic partnerships with government bodies aligned to the Government Cyber Action Plan • Speak at national and regional cybersecurity, defence, security, and public sector technology events • Host customer roundtables and advisory sessions, sharing strategies and threat intelligence • Produce blogs, articles, white papers, and government consultation responses • Represent CrowdStrike at parliamentary cybersecurity groups, industry working groups, and public-private partnership forums • Deliver UK government-specific threat landscape briefings • Advise company and sales teams on UK public sector engagement, procurement frameworks, and security assurance requirements • Coach, train, and mentor UK Public Sector sales teams, sales engineers, and partners • Develop strategic engagement plans for major government opportunities • Collaborate with Government Affairs, Product, and Engineering teams on policy, requirements, and product roadmap priorities • Support strategic partnerships with NCSC and contribute to joint initiatives and threat intelligence sharing • Provide market intelligence on UK public sector priorities, procurement trends, budgets, and competitors • Support the Executive Briefing Program for UK government customers
• UK citizenship required • Based in the United Kingdom • Eligibility for Security Clearance as required • Extensive cybersecurity track record, including senior leadership roles in UK public sector organisations • Deep understanding of UK government cybersecurity requirements, NCSC guidance, Government Security Classifications, protective monitoring, and security assurance frameworks • Broad information security competency across strategy, governance, risk management, architecture, and operations • Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Deep technical knowledge of endpoint security, XDR/EDR, cloud security, identity and access management, SIEM/log management, incident response, and threat intelligence • Experience with security transformation programs, Zero Trust architecture, cloud migration security, legacy estate modernization, and security operating model design • Understanding of UK government threat landscapes, including nation-state actors, ransomware groups, and insider threats • Established network within the UK public sector CISO and security leadership community • Deep understanding of UK government procurement frameworks and security assurance processes • Experience navigating UK government structures, cross-government initiatives, and public-private partnerships • Knowledge of UK cyber policy, including the National Cyber Strategy, Government Cyber Action Plan, defence cyber strategy, and relevant legislation • Exceptional communication skills for technical practitioners through ministerial-level stakeholders • Proven thought leadership through industry speaking, published articles/blogs, working groups, or media engagement • Ability to operate independently, lead cross-functional efforts, and influence senior stakeholders • Strategic thinking capability that translates technical security challenges into business outcomes • Practitioner credibility and ability to engage as a peer with public sector CISOs • Comfort providing objective, non-commercial strategic guidance • Former CISO or Deputy CISO experience, NCSC engagement, government incident response, stakeholder relationships, and published thought leadership are desirable • Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are desirable but not essential • Regular UK travel required, approximately 30–40% • Flexibility to attend government meetings, industry events, and customer engagements • Ability to adhere to government security protocols
