📋 Description

• Develop automated solutions for collecting, processing and analyzing data at scale, including operating honeypots, running Internet-wide scans, and vulnerability discovery • Operate, extend and create honeypots to identify and detect adversary TTPs • Perform vulnerability research • Collaborate across CrowdStrike Intelligence and other teams to satisfy unique technical collection requirements • Inform on information security topics • Reproduce emerging vulnerabilities and provide actionable technical information • Publish research results on the CrowdStrike blog or at conferences • Support longer-term research and collection projects and respond to ad-hoc technical needs

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken • Strong information security background with 4+ years experience • Working knowledge of vulnerability research concepts, including patch analysis and exploit primitives • Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and techniques • Solid understanding of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating system internals • Solid understanding of network protocols • Solid software development experience in Python • Hands-on experience using and building GenAI/LLM workflows in software development, data analysis and security research • Excellent problem solving, creativity and strong analytical skills to investigate, assess, validate, and think outside the box • Ability to work independently with a customer-oriented mindset • Ability to work remotely in a collaborative team environment • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes • BA/BS or equivalent experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • Bonus: Successful participation in CTF competitions • Bonus: Experience using reverse engineering tools and processes, including disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers, unpacking malware, and reconstructing code logic • Bonus: Experience in vulnerability research and exploit development • Bonus: Experience with mobile platforms and operating systems, such as Android and iOS • Bonus: Experience with additional programming languages, such as C, Rust, and Go • Bonus: Threat Intelligence background
