📋 Description

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using industry-standard software including Asta Power Project, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to track weekly project progress and milestones • Collaborate with project directors, technical managers, project managers, engineers and subcontractors to establish realistic project timelines and identify critical path activities and reporting strategies • Conduct regular programme reviews and analysis to identify potential risks, delays and resource constraints, and develop proactive solutions to address these • Carry out overall company project planning to ensure sufficient resourcing across all departments including safety, commercial, project management and design • Identify resource and planning gaps through weekly resource analysis • Issue weekly gap analysis reports on resourcing across all projects • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in support of project programmes • Monitor and report on project progress, including schedule performance metrics, variance analysis and forecasting • Provide leadership and guidance to the planning project management team, including scheduling coordinators and other planners • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project programmes, priorities and objectives • Participate in pre-start meetings, progress meetings and risk assessment meetings to provide scheduling expertise and support decision-making processes • Stay updated on industry best practice, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements related to construction planning and programming

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field • Proven experience in construction project planning and programming with a minimum of 5 years in a planning and programming role • Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Asta Power Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective mitigation strategies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build positive stakeholder relationships • Demonstrated leadership abilities including delegating tasks, managing priorities and mentoring team members • Knowledge of construction industry standards, practices and regulations • PMP or PSP certification preferred
