📋 Description
• We are looking for an experienced NOC Linux Specialist to support our Hunt: Showdown NetOps department. • For this role we are looking for someone who is based in Poland to work remotely on a freelance contract. • You will be responsible for the monitoring and troubleshooting of Crytek’s 24×7 gaming network across multiple data-centers, games, and platforms. • Please note that this role requires working in shifts (including night shifts).
🎯 Requirements
• Experience as a NOC Engineer or NOC Specialist. • Must be available to work in shifts (including night shifts). • Excellent written and verbal English. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP. • Linux administration experience. • Experience in automation/configuration management tools (Ansible is preferable), Git. • Hands - on experience with virtualization technologies. • Database knowledge: Postgres, MariaDB, Redis, MongoDB. • Familiar with the following protocols and services (desirable and will be considered as a strong advantage): • DNS • HTTP/HTTPS • VPN (IPSec, OpenVPN) • NGINX • Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.)
