📋 Description

• Supporting physical and virtual computing environments in a Linux-based data center • Administration, troubleshooting, and security of Linux systems • Management of virtual guests using Linux KVM virtualization • MySQL Database Administration, Replication, Clustering, and backups • IP networking including addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols • Extracting useful information from various sources including log files

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience supporting physical and virtual network and computing environments • Relevant experience in physical and virtual server implementation and maintenance • Proficient at troubleshooting production issues, solving problems, and implementing updates • Understanding of internet protocols including HTTP, DNS, RADIUS, SSH, and SMTP • Experience with writing and troubleshooting Perl, Python or Linux Shell Scripts • Experience with OpenNebula virtualization management helpful • Experience with Cacti and Nagios monitoring systems strongly desired • Experience with Virtualization technologies (Linux KVM preferred) strongly desired • Experience with MySQL administration, clustering, replication strongly desired • Experience with Container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
