📋 Description

• Own the DevOps roadmap and delivery commitments across all Supplier.io environments • Manage, coach, develop, hire, interview, and onboard the DevOps team • Establish and enforce change management, release management, environment promotion, incident response, on-call, documentation, and runbook processes • Bring legacy infrastructure under version control and documentation • Own disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including recovery time and recovery point objectives • Establish sprint planning, estimation, and delivery commitments • Define and drive observability strategy across all environments, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and APM • Own cloud cost optimization, including committed-use discounts, right-sizing, and reducing logging and storage costs • Drive security and compliance hygiene, including least-privilege access, access reviews, key rotation, certificate automation, and vulnerability remediation • Build and review CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes workloads • Own infrastructure and tooling supporting Data Engineering, including Snowflake administration, Airflow infrastructure, and secrets and connection management • Coordinate infrastructure decisions with the STAC and broader platform architecture standards • Participate in the on-call rotation • Build a culture of automation, accountability, and continuous improvement • Partner with software development, data engineering, AI, and platform teams • Evaluate emerging tools and practices and make build-versus-buy decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles with progressive responsibility • 3+ years leading or managing engineers with hiring, coaching, and performance responsibility • Track record of building change and release management, incident response, planning and estimation, and documentation standards • Experience bringing legacy or undocumented infrastructure under management • Experience introducing Infrastructure as Code and disaster recovery planning • Strong hands-on proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins • Strong hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Ansible, and Helm • Strong hands-on proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes • Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform • Experience defining and implementing observability strategies across multiple environments • Experience managing cloud spend, including committed-use or reservation strategies, right-sizing, and cost accountability • Excellent communication skills and ability to present plans and results to executives • Judgment balancing operations, project delivery, and automation investments • Preferred: experience with distributed teams, acquired-platform infrastructure consolidation, security automation, compliance frameworks, policy-as-code, CI/CD for data pipelines, and AI/MLOps • Candidates must meet in-country work authorization requirements • Supplier.io is unable to sponsor work visas for US positions
