📋 Description

• Manage strategic alignment, operational success and performance of assigned provider relationships and value-based initiatives • Oversee Medicaid value-based contracting and provider performance strategies across the Central Region • Manage provider relationships and address value-based contract questions and issues • Educate internal and external parties on contract terms and expectations • Coordinate external provider meetings and engage clinical, pharmacy, financial and analytical subject matter experts • Develop workflows and strategies to integrate data and reporting • Identify and implement solutions to relationship and performance problems • Drive provider performance and partner with local markets on business and team objectives • Improve deal performance across multiple lines of business, complex models and advanced national provider partners • Monitor contract performance against financial, clinical, cost and efficiency targets using reporting and data • Supervise VBS Provider Performance team members and identify improvement opportunities • Assist the Executive Director, Provider Performance, with organizational strategies and provide support as needed • Monitor adherence to department policies and protocols • Promote team best practices and identify training and educational needs • Oversee onboarding and training plans for new team colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years experience in a health plan, health system or provider organization • Experience directly managing people and/or Teams • Self-directed individual with independent problem-solving skills • Proven ability to interact with, influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels • Experience managing a matrixed environment with ability to leverage internal business partners to complete tasks • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Knowledge of healthcare and insurance industry • Ability to form strong client relationships • Experience with Provider Contracting, Plan Design and Product Offerings • Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of professional work experience and education • ACO / managed-care experience preferred
