📋 Description

• Direct market, customer, and competitor research to inform capture strategy and proposal development for Medicaid managed care procurements • Curate intelligence on customer and competitor programs, weaknesses, innovations, and performance • Develop actionable insights supporting strategic decision-making, customer-centric approaches, growth, and proposal responses • Collaborate with the Capture Director, business partners, proposal teams, and consultants on research reports, analyses, workshops, and other deliverables • Design and execute research studies, assess market data, and translate findings into data-driven market strategies • Coach and strategically direct business partners and consultants on market research and analysis • Organize and maintain research outputs and source materials in SharePoint • Synthesize findings into reports, presentations, and dashboards for stakeholders from junior roles to senior executives • Track project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables • Direct proposal team members by providing insight, recommendations, and intelligence for content development

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Medicaid Managed Care • 5+ years of specialized experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis • Demonstrated experience developing competitor analyses and actionable insights • Ability to work independently with limited direction • Skill creating PowerPoint presentations that transform detailed research into clear, well-organized executive slides • Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities under tight deadlines • Proven project management skills and record of meeting milestones in fast-paced environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including translating research into strategic recommendations • Problem-solving mindset and process-improvement drive • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Preferred: P&L/business development and Medicaid managed care project management experience • Preferred: capture and proposal experience for opportunities of $1B+ • Preferred: managed-care capture or executive leadership experience for state Medicaid agencies • Preferred: APMP certification(s) • Preferred: state Medicaid agency or federal agency experience with CMS • Preferred: electronic collaboration tools, competitive analyses, executive presentation decks, and managed care operations experience
