📋 Description

• Lead and deliver penetration testing engagements for Government CHECK scheme, private, and commercial clients • Ensure client deliverables meet the standards of the consultant and technical testing team’s reputation • Mentor and develop junior members of the technical testing team where appropriate • Support Account Management through pre-engagement activities, including scoping and client calls • Perform quality assurance on consultants’ reports before client delivery • Present and discuss findings with technical teams and C-Suite stakeholders • Produce detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities and remediation recommendations • Travel to and work from client and Wavenet locations as required, potentially involving overnight hotel stays

🎯 Requirements

• Currently certified and accredited as a CHECK Team Leader in either the Infrastructure or Web Application disciplines • Minimum of two years’ currency at CHECK Team Leader level • UK Cyber Security Council (UKCSC) accreditation of Principal Cyber Security Professional (PriCSP) or higher • Demonstrable experience delivering and reporting a variety of IT security engagements • Strong knowledge of penetration testing frameworks and methodologies • Strong client-facing skills, including presenting and discussing with technical teams and C-Suite • Good grasp of English language and grammar • Ability to produce detailed vulnerability reports with sensible remediation recommendations • Personal time management and organisation skills, with ability to meet tight turnaround times and deadlines • Existing UK Security Check (SC) clearance as a minimum • Ability to hold and retain further enhanced security clearance levels as required • Desirable: experience of scripting and coding languages • Desirable: OSCP certification and/or experience with online cyber security training platforms • Desirable: own method of transport
