📋 Description

• Drive the development and execution of our Chemicals and Contract Manufacturing sourcing strategy from RFI/RFP creation • Lead supplier negotiations, global stakeholder management to business award and Master Agreement implementation • Serve as department lead on COST and SERVICE improvement initiatives working closely with each sourcing and purchasing associate • Successfully lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives with key strategic suppliers in support of Business Transformation goals: cost savings, lead-time and minimum order quantity reduction, increased inventory turns, and improved processes • Identify and execute risk mitigation and security of supply strategies that will prevent disruption of critical supply

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Logistics • Minimum 5 years in Sourcing in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical industry or Consumer Packaged Goods CHEMICAL sourcing industry preferred • Experience w/ managing RFI/RFP workflow through to Supplier Business award and Contract Negotiation required • Knowledge and understanding of cost drivers and ability to apply within negotiations, development of strategies and embarking upon cost improvement opportunities
