📋 Description

• Own the financial picture for manufacturing sites and the third-party lab network. • Partner with manufacturing site leads on budgets, variances, and operational decisions. • Provide financial analysis for third-party lab routing decisions and explain cost trade-offs. • Lead pre-close and preliminary close meetings with site leads. • Coordinate with Cost Accounting and drive variance follow-ups to completion. • Review fixed-overhead COGS expense details for accurate booking. • Analyze third-party lab costs to validate routing. • Run gold and precious-metals margin analyses against markup targets. • Improve the monthly close process by reducing manual work, tightening timelines, and improving output quality. • Build analysis for equipment purchases, manufacturing footprint decisions, and insource-versus-outsource evaluations. • Serve as a finance partner to Operations and Finance leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of finance experience, including meaningful experience in a physical-product business in a high-growth environment • Demonstrated success partnering with operators and translating between operational reality and financial impact • Experience owning recurring processes such as a close, forecast cycle, or reporting cadence • Strong modeling skills • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets • Comfort automating spreadsheet work with Claude Co-Work or other AI tools • Comfort working with large, messy datasets • Exceptional communication skills and ability to distill complex analysis into clear executive recommendations • Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity • Willingness to challenge senior stakeholders and push for the right answer
