📋 Description

• Identify and vet specialty physicians across all specialties, including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, and PM&R specialists • Ensure full physician coverage in California • Recruit physicians for the QME/IME, Workers’ Compensation, and medicolegal space • Manage physician networks, recruitment activities, medical specialties, and terminology • Negotiate with physicians and medical specialists • Use computer platforms and data to analyze network gaps and doctor fee trends • Perform cold-calling and pitch opportunities to high-level medical specialists • Work for long periods sitting and performing computer work

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set • Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology • Strong negotiation skills • Critical thinking, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to meet specific deadlines • Computer literacy and typing skills • 3+ years in Physician Recruitment, specifically within the IME, Workers’ Comp, or Medicolegal space • 2–5 years in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services • Familiarity with the California DWC, QME/AME process, and Medical-Legal Fee Schedule • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Cold-calling and pitching skills • Ability to speak the language of high-level medical specialists • Ability to use computer platforms and data to analyze network gaps and doctor fee trends • Ability to maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for work-from-home work
