📋 Description

• Own and advance our AIMS aligned to the EU AI Act • Run AI ethics, compliance workflows, and governance with delivery in mind • Coordinate governance across teams to meet business goals • Scale lightweight, practical governance as AI usage grows internally and across our products • Partner with product and tech leads to govern AI releases • Apply EU AI Act risk assessments and classifications • Enable teams through clear checkpoints and simple AI frameworks • Align cross-functional work for compliant, on-time AI rollouts • Manage compliance programs and support leadership in regulator interactions • Work with Data Protection on AI-specific requirements • Keep crisp documentation and audit trails • Steer AI ethics reviews and responsible AI practices • Monitor what’s working and streamline what isn’t • Sync research, development, and productionization activities across teams • Own reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement • Drive timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder updates

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in managing / delivering AI governance, risk management, or compliance in a regulated industry (healthcare preferred, but finance, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors also relevant) • Strong understanding of the EU AI Act, AI risk frameworks, bias, and ethics in AI • AI Program management experience with the ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders across technical, compliance, and regulatory teams • Comfortable being hands-on: not just setting AI strategy but implementing and owning AI processes directly • Exposure to information security, data privacy, or regulatory compliance is a strong plus • Experience working with AI models, data governance, and productionizing AI tools • A track record of simplifying complexity, creating lightweight AI processes that balance compliance and agility • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse technical and non-technical teams • Eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
