📋 Description

• Own the reliability, scalability, and security posture of the Azure environment end-to-end • Bring infrastructure fully under Terraform-managed infrastructure as code • Establish git-based workflows, pull-request review, peer review, and module testing for infrastructure code • Define and implement Azure architecture, resource organization, naming and tagging standards, subscription and management-group hierarchy, and network topology • Redesign and enforce least-privilege access across Azure RBAC, Entra ID, and service principals • Eliminate wasteful or redundant resource provisioning and build cost visibility and accountability • Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes with automated plan/apply, validation, and policy checks • Build monitoring, alerting, and observability practices using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights, or equivalent • Manage and modernize the Windows-based on-premises product component and integrate it more tightly with Azure • Apply infrastructure-as-code and automation discipline to the AWS footprint as needed • Drive incident response, postmortems, SLOs, error budgets, and capacity planning • Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability, security, and IaC discipline into software delivery • Mentor engineers on cloud, IaC, and software engineering best practices • Establish operating models and standards for the infrastructure transformation

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles • Deep, hands-on Azure experience • Strong, demonstrable Terraform expertise, including module structures, state management, and complex multi-resource environments • Experience with git workflows, branching, pull requests, and code review • Experience with Windows Server administration, IIS, Active Directory/Entra ID, and Windows-based application stacks • Solid understanding of Azure networking: VNets, peering, private endpoints, and NSGs • Solid understanding of Azure identity: Entra ID, RBAC, service principals, and managed identities • Understanding of Azure cost management tooling • Working knowledge of AWS core services, including IAM, VPC, EC2, and ECS • Experience integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments, including VPN/ExpressRoute, hybrid identity, and hybrid networking • Track record of introducing structure and standards into organically or rapidly grown environments • Strong scripting ability in PowerShell and/or Bash/Python • Excellent security and access-control judgment, with a least-privilege mindset • Ability to operate autonomously, make architectural decisions, and drive adoption • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for infrastructure pipelines is nice to have • Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate are nice to have • Successful completion of a background check • Accurate and complete application information • Must be located in a U.S. state where Dental Intelligence currently has employees
