📋 Description

• Support a broad range of commercial contracts work for sophisticated clients • Draft, review and amend commercial contracts and related documents • Support contract negotiations and progress matters to completion • Conduct legal and commercial research • Manage allocated tasks and matters with appropriate supervision • Communicate with lawyers, clients and stakeholders • Triage and prioritise work to meet deadlines • Work within precedents, playbooks and defined processes • Maintain accurate matter records and support reporting requirements • Use AI, legal technology and automation tools to support efficient delivery • Engage positively with new tools, systems and ways of working • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency in recurring work • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support colleagues as priorities shift

🎯 Requirements

• Strong academic record; degree or equivalent preferred • Interest in commercial law and developing experience in commercial contracts • Some exposure to commercial contracts or stakeholder engagement in a professional services environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines • Initiative and ownership of work • Curiosity and willingness to learn • Ability to act on feedback • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues at all levels • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems • Openness to innovation and interest in AI in legal delivery • Ability to use AI tools responsibly, with awareness of accuracy, confidentiality and human judgement
