📋 Description

• Design end-to-end experiences for client-facing AI agent products, including conversational flows, agent handoffs, and multi-step automated workflows • Define interaction patterns for uncertainty and confidence communication, error and fallback states, latency handling, and human-in-the-loop moments • Create conversational interfaces and self-service analytics experiences that make complex data science outputs accessible to non-technical users • Create and maintain reusable AI interaction components and design systems • Partner with AI engineers to understand system capabilities and constraints and ensure feasible, resilient designs that accurately represent model behavior • Lead discovery and user research with client stakeholders to validate concepts, identify friction, and inform the product roadmap • Produce high-fidelity prototypes to test agent experiences before engineering investment • Champion WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, including screen-reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and accessible handling of streaming and dynamic AI content • Establish UX standards, documentation, and design rationale records for the AI product portfolio • Collaborate with distributed teams, including offshore engineering, across regions and time zones

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience (60+ months), supported by a portfolio demonstrating shipped, complex digital products • Strong command of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design rationale to executives, engineers, and clients • Ability to work independently and own design decisions end to end • Comfort working with ambiguity and changing technical constraints • Experience designing LLM-based products, including chatbots, copilots, or agent workflows (nice to have) • Familiarity with LLM concepts such as prompting, RAG, tool use, and model limitations (nice to have) • Background in media, advertising, or marketing technology (nice to have) • Experience designing analytics or business intelligence experiences, including dashboards and self-service data exploration (nice to have) • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system at scale (nice to have) • Accessibility certification, such as IAAP CPACC or WAS, or experience conducting accessibility audits and assistive technology testing (nice to have) • Experience designing asynchronous, event-driven, or streaming interfaces (nice to have) • Flexibility to meet company and client needs, including possible office attendance
