• Deliver sales presentations to promote Dexcom products and services to existing and potential customers and healthcare professionals (endocrinologists, nurse educators, pediatricians, primary care physicians and nurses) • Educate physicians and nurses on the benefits and details of using Dexcom continuous glucose monitoring products • Build and maintain relationships with physicians • Represent Dexcom at local, regional, and national diabetes congresses • Actively position the company as a market leader in continuous glucose monitoring • Implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve individual and company goals • Assume responsibility for the regional budget and control expenses • Create reports according to guidelines and use sales materials to promote sales • Work with sales colleagues and internal employees to achieve or exceed company goals • Frequent travel required (approximately 75%)
• A Bachelor’s degree • Minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience • Experience in diabetes and in the medical devices industry (a plus) • Experience in both primary care and hospitals • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies • Demonstrated success in previous sales roles (very good performance a plus) • Ability to recognize customer needs and advance new approaches to diabetes treatment • Ability to implement sales strategies in a complex and multifaceted environment • Work cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, and Marketing teams • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Team-oriented and able to implement consultative sales strategies • Nice to have understanding/speaking level of English • Valid Category B driver's license
