📋 Description

• Architect and develop complex, high-load backend systems written in Elixir • Lead technical discussions with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers • Turn vague requirements into robust technical specifications • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers • Conduct code reviews and foster technical excellence • Champion best practices in testing, documentation, and maintainability • Contribute to architectural decisions and scalable platform development • Build and improve products that drive fan engagement through CRM, SEO, affiliates, and paid marketing channels

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive production experience with Elixir, OTP, and Phoenix, or deep expertise in another functional language with willingness to master Elixir quickly • Proven experience with React and modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS • Strong track record designing and developing distributed systems at scale • Experience integrating complex third-party services and handling failure scenarios • Experience with CDN and edge caching • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis database internals and query performance optimisation • Understanding of accessibility and SEO • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions • Technical leadership, ownership, communication, and collaboration • Experience with MarTech platforms such as Braze or Iterable is desirable
