📋 Description

• Act as Digital Science's overall IFRS technical accounting expert • Research and advise on accounting treatment for new or complex transactions, products, and IFRS standards or amendments • Own revenue recognition accounting under IFRS 15 for item-code and contract revenue across entities • Reconcile deferred revenue monthly and align it with billing and accounts receivable records • Maintain and improve revenue recognition policies and documentation • Partner with FRPA and Finance Business Partnering to align ARR metrics with statutory revenue recognition • Partner with Product and Commercial teams on revenue treatment for new products, pricing models, and contract structures • Work with Accounts Receivable on billing and revenue-related queries • Support external and internal audits, focusing on revenue-related balances and disclosures • Maintain internal controls over revenue recognition and recommend improvements • Own formalisation and documentation of revenue recognition policy across product lines • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities • Deliver accurate IFRS 15 revenue recognition, monthly deferred revenue reconciliations, documented technical guidance, consistent ARR and statutory revenue reporting, audit support without material findings, and planned process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting with hands-on IFRS 15 experience • Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience is desirable • Experience with SaaS/subscription and/or B2C transactional revenue models is desirable • Strong command of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition judgement calls • High accuracy across item-code, contract, and deferred revenue reconciliations • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with FRPA, AR, and Product/Commercial teams • Comfortable adapting as products, contracts, and pricing models evolve • Proactive, hands-on, and accountable for outcomes
