📋 Description

• Develop and/or participate in litigation • Represent individual clients in negotiations, mediations, and judicial proceedings • Identify and participate in key stakeholder workgroups • Expand the delivery of services to underserved populations • Prepare and/or coordinate training materials and reports • Mentor attorneys, advocates, fellows, clerks, or interns • Participate in other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree (JD) and admitted to the California State Bar • Five (5) full years of legal experience • Demonstrated commitment to working with people with disabilities and low-income clients • Experience in law affecting the rights of people with disabilities • Experience in litigation, administrative practice, working on complex legal matters, or community organizing • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple advocacy projects • Experience working with persons with disabilities from multi-ethnic communities • Strong sense of professional responsibility and ethics • Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks • Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision
