• Acts as an information expert through the use of systematic tools and data analysis • Identifies new business opportunities and assesses existing business through the analysis of promotion, pricing, and assortment for their assigned customers • Responsible for driving the execution of day-to-day business tasks • Utilizes a variety of information sources to build knowledge and insights that can be used to improve overall performance • Customer expert in the study of syndicated data, household panel data, and customer data • Identifies key insights and business recommendations based on pricing, promotion, and overall performance • Contributes to internal and external rituals and routines • Leads key analyses, including promotional performance, inventory analysis, pricing compliance, and competitive analysis • Ensures that data and insights are provided in an effective and efficient format for team collaboration and utilization • Demonstrates thought leadership on data analysis, organization, and communication • Provides in-depth recommendations based on key data insights • Effectively partners with Sales team and internal cross-functional team
• Bachelor’s Degree • 3+ years of experience in sales or analytics; preferably CPG experience • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) • Self-motivated, strong drive for results, ability to operate independently • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create action plans • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints • Ability to succeed in a collaborative team environment • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment • Solid working knowledge of computers and related systems including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • OPTIONAL: ability to use consumption scan data is a plus (i.e. Market6, IRI Unify, Tableau, etc.) • Ability to travel (up to 10%)
