📋 Description

• Build and maintain fullstack features across AI-powered tax preparation, planning, and review products • Design and implement React interfaces, TypeScript APIs, and Python backend services • Own features from initial problem discovery through implementation, release, and iteration • Use real usage data and customer feedback to identify improvements • Make product and technical decisions with incomplete information • Collaborate with engineering, AI, product, and domain experts • Engage with customer-facing teams and real users to shape solutions • Maintain a clean, typed, and performant codebase • Balance additional polish with rapid shipping and learning • Build software changing how US accounting firms prepare and review taxes

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level commercial experience, minimum 5 years, building fullstack applications with React and Python • Strong product mindset focused on user problems and outcomes • Proven ability to take ownership of a topic end to end, from an unclear need to a production solution • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and clarifying scope • Pragmatic engineering approach balancing quality, speed, and business impact • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud and/or Azure • Experience in a fast-moving startup or scale-up is a bonus • Experience taking a product or major feature from 0 to 1 is a bonus • Experience building software in a regulated or complex domain is a bonus • Previous experience with AI/LLM-powered products is a bonus • Experience working directly with users or using product metrics and customer feedback is a bonus
