📋 Description

• Develop and maintain DataDome’s JavaScript Tag for customer websites, focusing on performance, resilience, security, privacy, and Core Web Vitals • Build and improve server-side integration modules for AWS Lambda@Edge, Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Compute, Node.js, and other runtimes • Own backend integration modules in Python, Go, Java, and Ruby • Drive technical direction and integration best practices • Mentor engineers on the Integrations team • Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, performance, security, code quality, and release standards • Provide Tier 2/3 technical expertise to Support and Solutions Engineering teams • Monitor web technology, edge computing, and server-side runtime developments • Propose integration improvements • Manage integration-related incidents and post-incident reviews • Collaborate with product managers and engineers across Tech, Customer Experience, and Solutions Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills • Familiarity with modern web standards and server-side JavaScript runtimes • Solid working proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or Ruby • Understanding of HTTP, TCP, cookies, DNS, and TLS • Ability to assess trade-offs across integration approaches and propose scalable solutions • Experience mentoring engineers or driving technical decisions • Focus on performance, code quality, and automation • Experience with CI/CD tools • Comfort working across different codebases, languages, and platforms • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies • Good communication skills • Fluency in English • Bonus: experience with edge computing platforms, CDNs, load balancers, web servers, AWS/GCP, browsers and JavaScript engines, ECMAScript, web security, compilers/parsers, cryptography, or bots
