📋 Description

• Own, refine, lead, and continuously improve the end-to-end release management process • Lead Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Customer Operations representatives through release planning to external release • Track release plans, capacity, risks, accountability, and post-release adoption metrics • Define and maintain the release calendar and communicate release readiness and risks • Coordinate in-flight work across Jira and support customer-specific builds • Align release artifacts across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Services • Lead cross-functional release meetings and asynchronous release processes • Lead program-level planning and governance across the ELN Platform • Manage dependencies, milestones, delivery roadmaps, risks, and issues across concurrent workstreams • Translate company and customer objectives into execution strategies • Report progress, risk, and strategic alignment to stakeholders and executive leadership • Support rollout of Solution Area Initiatives • Build cross-functional stakeholder relationships and drive alignment • Champion agile delivery and coach product and engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in program management and/or enterprise SaaS product release management • Proven record leading and executing release and program management strategies through agile leadership and cross-functional collaboration • Strong program governance skills, including milestone planning, dependency management, risk tracking, and executive-level reporting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to bring structure and calm to a fast-paced environment with competing priorities • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills • Advanced Jira and Confluence skills, including custom reports, dashboards, and program views • Proficiency in diagramming and planning tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro • Experience planning and executing long-term, multi-phase programs spanning development, configuration, and deployment • Openness to using AI to improve efficiency and collaboration; Dotmatics uses Claude • Agile SCRUM, Product Owner, SCRUM Master, or PMP certification strongly preferred • Background or relevant work experience in life sciences or scientific software is nice to have • People management or mentorship experience is nice to have
