📋 Description

‱ Drive business growth by prospecting across a broad market with strong market share potential. ‱ Manage key accounts, including mid-sized and large customers, while identifying opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts. ‱ Focus on problem-solving and a value-added selling approach to win and retain customers and encourage repeat business. ‱ Emphasize total cost reduction, improvement of production quality, and support customers' health, safety and environmental objectives. ‱ Manage customer operations, including product application, selection and delivery, troubleshooting, accounts receivable management, etc. ‱ Have access to an outstanding field technical team and Research & Development (R&D) support to assist sales opportunities and account management. ‱ Travel to visit current and prospective customers to build relationships and increase sales. ‱ Collaborate with the service team as needed for territory management. ‱ Must be able to perform all essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

🎯 Requirements

‱ More than 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the specialty chemicals industry. ‱ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English. ‱ Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage time effectively. ‱ Strong experience in prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering effective presentations. ‱ Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. ‱ High performance orientation with a willingness to develop and grow a sales territory. ‱ Professional skills in sales and territory management. ‱ Strong consultative, negotiation, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. ‱ Proficient in sales budget management and sales tracking using Microsoft CRM. ‱ Comfortable with online account management tools (ordering, tracking, pricing, billing, etc.). ‱ Ability to learn and understand new product lines to meet customer needs. ‱ Willing to travel up to 75%, including occasional overnight stays. ‱ Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ‱ Ability to perform technical/mechanical testing on-site, if required.
