• Identify and curate relationships with decision makers at prospective banks to introduce and promote insurance protection products • Develop and leverage strategic partnerships with consultants, associations and networking groups to access prospect banks • Use a client-centered consultative sales approach to position Franklin Madison solutions • Utilize CRM tools and reporting to manage pipeline and document activity • Qualify prospects and collect data to perform preliminary marketing estimates • Collaborate with Finance and internal teams to initiate and finalize proposals and proformas • Negotiate deal terms, finalize contracts and secure authorized signatures • Coordinate onboarding kick-off meetings with stakeholders and document implementation phases • Transition day-to-day client engagement to colleagues while remaining an escalation point for key issues • Develop and refine sales strategy, leverage databases and social media, and represent Franklin Madison as a thought leader • Collaborate with sales team to share best practices and support professional development
• Bachelor’s degree (business administration, finance, insurance, or a related major preferred) • Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales • At least 2 years in business development or B2B sales roles • Existing network in the banking space and ability to connect with senior-level decision makers • Demonstrated history of successful contract negotiation in complex sales situations • Ability to demonstrate passion for the product and process • Ability to manage rapidly changing priorities and opportunities • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Persistent, results driven individual with a strategic mindset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products • Ability to travel up to 50%
