• Handle incoming support and operational tickets in Jira • Administer and support a primarily Apple environment (macOS and iOS) • Manage and maintain SLES 15+ servers across on-prem and hybrid environments using vCenter • Own the patching process for Linux systems and assist with other platforms as needed • Manage VMware vSphere environments, including hosts, clusters, and templates • Use Bash, Python, and PHP to automate everyday system tasks • Implement and maintain system logging, metrics, and alerting • Create and maintain clear documentation, including SOPs, knowledge base articles, and runbook diagrams
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years managing SLES/SUSE systems in a production environment (SLES 15+ preferred) • Hands-on experience supporting macOS and iOS/iPadOS devices in a managed environment using Addigy or Jamf, including Apple Business Manager, configuration profiles, FileVault, and software deployment • Experience with VMware vSphere and Veeam for daily operations, backup/restore, and disaster recovery • Proficiency in Bash and/or Python for automating routine tasks, reporting, and system management • Proven ability to plan and execute patch cycles, validate systems, and track compliance and remediation efforts • Familiarity with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 control areas (change management, access control, backups, logging, vulnerability management) and comfort with collecting supporting evidence • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and VPN/firewall basics • Strong written communication skills; able to clearly document procedures and explain technical concepts to different audiences • Fluent in Spanish and English
